What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), role-specific verification details (license numbers, brokerage, company, insurance attestation), listing content you provide (including property details, photos, and documents), messages sent through the platform, support conversations, payment records processed by Stripe (we never see full card numbers), and standard technical logs.
How we use it
To operate the marketplace: displaying listings, verifying builders and agents, enabling connections and messaging, processing subscriptions and report purchases, sending transactional email (inquiries, replies, status changes, alerts you configure), preparing Land Insight Reports you order, providing support, and improving the product using aggregate analytics — including anonymized deal-outcome statistics.
What other users see
Public visitors see listing details you choose to publish, minus exact location, description, documents, and contact info, which are limited to paying members. Your contact information is shared only when a connection is made under our gating rules (or, for agents, on your public professional profile). Private landowner street addresses and APNs are never displayed publicly. Documents you upload to a listing are visible to paying members and our review team.
Who we share with
Service providers under contract (payment processing by Stripe, email delivery, hosting), professional advisors, and authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information. Aggregated, de-identified statistics (e.g., average partnership uplift) may be used in marketing.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your account from your dashboard's Support page; this removes your profile, listings, messages, and reports. We retain payment records, churn statistics (de-identified from your account), and information needed for legal compliance. Backups purge on a rolling basis.
Your choices & contact
Update your information from your dashboard. Transactional emails are inherent to the service; marketing email (if any) will include unsubscribe. For privacy requests: hello@landstake.io. If you are a resident of a state with specific privacy rights (e.g., California), you may exercise those rights via the same address.
